Tech4Life Hub (T4L) is an innovative environment for supporting technology startups and projects in the areas of life, health and safety. Its main objective is to create a platform for innovation and collaboration between the private, academic and public sectors. It combines the activity of a business incubator for start-ups with the functioning of the hub itself, which connects various entities and supports the creation of innovative solutions. Its basic principles include promoting innovation, improving the Czech Republic’s competitiveness and addressing modern challenges related to technologies for preserving and protecting life.
Our goal
Finding technological solutions for preventing and responding to crises and hazards and improving the quality of life. To this end, the Hub aims to create a space for cross-industry collaboration and connect key players from the private sector, public administration, academia, international institutions and international stakeholders.
Examples of supported areas
The Tech4Life Hub supports key technology areas, including the defence and security industry, where it focuses on training and simulation solutions, communication systems, cybersecurity, psychological resilience and cognitive capabilities. It also focuses on the protection of the population, supporting solutions for emergency response, measuring and detection equipment, security technology, solutions for strengthening critical infrastructure and protection against weapons of mass destruction. In the field of biotechnology and health tech, it focuses on innovations in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics and telemedicine.
Who we are looking for
Partners from a variety of sectors, including innovative startups, industrial companies specializing in health and safety technologies, academic institutions, investment and financial partners, government organizations and non-profit sectors. The aim is to create a diverse ecosystem that fosters innovation and development in the hub areas through collaboration and synergistic projects.
