JOIN THE PILOTINNCITIES PROJECT

The MIT in cooperation with CzechInvest is launching the PilotInnCities project, which will support the introduction of innovative smart city solutions into practice through agile piloting. Share with us your opinion and help us shape a better future for cities. The project will be officially presented on Jun 6 at the URBIS trade fair ☝️

HEADING TO THE FESTIVAL

Rock for People is not only about music, it is also a space for developing creativity, sharing innovations, new solutions and ideas. In Future fest zone our startups will present themselves as NIL Textile, Myco or Weekday to inspire and support others with good ideas to start their own business. So come too!

WE PRESENTED THE AWARD FOR THE BEST GAME STUDY

As part of the Anifilm Animation Film Festival, we organized a series of workshops focused on the video game industry. Those who want to start a business learned how to start and run a company, how to handle marketing or how to communicate and convince an investor. At the same time, the best game studies were presented in the Game Pitch Arena. We had the honour to present the second prize to MEDIX, congratulations!

WE SELECT STARTUPS FOR INCUBATION

April was marked by the selection of new startups for the ESA BIC Czech Republic space technology incubator. After the formal review and presentations in front of the expert committee, all registered startups are now eagerly waiting for the results and we will reveal their names as soon as we know them! WE WERE INSPIRED IN ESTONIA

We participated in the ESA Network Event in Tartu, and brought back inspiration for the future of our space incubator. The traditional meeting of the ESA BICs network was aimed at exchanging experiences and best practices in supporting startups in individual countries and at joint discussions on the future direction of ESA in the field of commercialisation.

In cooperation with the ICT Union we are organizing another online workshop on the topic of AI entrepreneurship. In it, we will introduce services for startups provided by companies such as Amazon, Google or IBM, or services available to startups through eDIHs, such as. SHORTLY FROM MACHINE LEARNING PRAGUE

The largest Central European event focusing on machine learning and deep learning brought together world leaders in the field, including Murray Campbell, the developer of Deep Blue, the computer that first beat a human at chess. AI Hub and our startups Pointee Interactive or Pretty Much Nomads had the opportunity to consult their projects, meet with partners and expand their team of experts.

THERE IS INTEREST IN SUSTAINABILITY-RELATED TOPICS

The company’s interest in sustainability is huge and the Czech & Slovak Sustainability Summit confirmed this. The second edition was attended by a total of 578 participants, which represents a significant increase compared to the first edition. The conference programme featured nearly seventy speakers and the ten best sustainable projects were awarded the Sustainability Star by the Summit’s Science Council. 👉 I want to know more

📅 12.-13. June – Czech-Slovak Technology Summit – The largest Czech-Slovak networking event in the progressive fields of cyber security and artificial intelligence.
