NUMBER OF THE MONTH: 44

This is the final number of startups accepted into the Technology Incubation within the third call, which will receive support in the amount of CZK 109,723,500. Currently, we are already incubating 133 startups out of the planned 250.

BUILDING COMMUNITY

We are actively building and developing a strong community that connects startups with key players in the tech ecosystem. We offer startups not only regular meet-upsbut also participate in partner events to increase their visibility. One of them, for example, is #demoday Technology Incubation which takes place on October 22 in Prague. This event will take place on the occasion of the Tech Happy Hours and will allow our startups to present their projects to investors, VC fund representatives and experts, get valuable feedback and compete for the best pitch.

SHOW YOUR AI IDEA TO THE EXPERTS

CzechInvest and Technology Incubation are organising a competition for innovators and startups focused on artificial intelligence. Come and present your idea in front of an expert jury, get valuable feedback and a chance to network with investors and VC funds. 👉 I want to apply

NOMINATE INNOVATORS IN AI

The AI Awards is a prestigious award that highlights personalities, companies and organizations contributing to the development of artificial intelligence in the Czech Republic. Until 30. September you can 👉 nominate its favourites in the categories of AI and societal contribution, AI in education, research, business and public administration.

OUR STARTUPS AT GAMESCOM 2024

The biggest gaming fair attracted a record 335,000 fans this year. Our startups presented their new products – Brainz Gamify TrackCraft, Filuta AI a tool for more efficient video game testing, and there was also Cyber Sail Consultingwhich connects game projects with publishers and investors.

ESTABLISH A SPACE PARTNERSHIP

Industrial Days Space2Business will take place as part of the Czech Space Week festival and will offer companies, start-ups and research institutions the opportunity to present themselves at the Space Business Fair and establish cooperation in the space industry. CZECH SPACE INDUSTRY GOES TO BREMEN

From 19. to 21. November at the fair Space Tech Expo Europe will present leading Czech space companies such as Advacam, Czech Space Alliance or for example Stratosyst, which has been incubated at ESA BIC. At the national stand there will be an opportunity to see the latest technological advances in space research and satellite systems.

ESABIC INCUBATOR NETWORK CELEBRATES ITS ANNIVERSARY

The Czech ESA BIC has so far supported over 50 start-ups focused on space technology and satellite data. Thanks to the link with the Technology Incubation, the support for startups has increased from €50,000 to €200,000 this year. This move has significantly strengthened the position of the Czech ESA BIC among space incubators in Europe. 👉 I want to know more

CHANGE THE FUTURE OF HEALTHCARE

European Healthcare Hackathon will take place from 1. to 3. November and will provide opportunities for students, professionals and enthusiasts to address challenges in healthcare. Representatives from the Tech4Life Hub will be available to answer your questions. 👉 Registration

GET READY FOR THE STARTUP EVENT OF THE YEAR

On 22 October, more than 400 innovators, investors and startup founders will meet in Prague. Guests will include Igor Jex from CTU, who will present the possibilities of using CERN technologies, and Linn Kretzschmar from CERN Venture Connect, of which ATM Hub is a partner. BATTERY VALUE CHAIN AS AN OPPORTUNITY

On 21 October, a seminar will be held to offer a comprehensive view of the battery ecosystem in the Czech Republic and the latest technologies in this area. 📅 7.-11. October – Innovation Week – 9. The 9th edition of the biggest event in the field of innovation and artificial intelligence is here. The CEO of Tech4Life Hub will be speaking on the Innovations and AI in Healthcare panel.

📅 8.-11. October – International Engineering Fair – The main theme this year is Industry 4.0 and the digital factory and circular economy.

📅 14.-27. October – AI Days – An event for all those interested in AI and its applications. A significant part of the programme is dedicated to practice and concrete examples of AI use across disciplines. 📅 21.-25. October – Czech Startup Week – a week full of meetings and networking opportunities, including an international conference Engagement Investments, Happy Tech Hours and #demoday Technology Incubation.
