Startup E-CAFE BIKE wants to relieve cities from traffic congestion

The combination of business and creativity – this combination won the E-CAFE BIKE startup this year’s Creative Business Cup competition. E-CAFE BIKE started with the production of original electric bicycles, to which this year it also added cargo trucks. It wants to help urban residents who suffer from excessive traffic. Cars have a large emission footprint, take up a lot of space and worsen the quality of life in cities. If some drivers switched to electric bikes, everyone would be relieved.

Rock for People has long since ceased to be a purely music festival. It has become a showroom for technology, design and innovation. It is these attributes that come together in the Komerční banka and Mastercard zone to give visitors a glimpse into the future of sustainable festivals. In recent years, several projects have been launched that could support their development. Ministry of Industry and Trade (MIT) and CzechInvest will support startups in the field of financial innovation and technology. Digital Regulatory Sandbox will be created

The government, on the proposal of MIT, has approved the creation of Digital Regulatory Sandbox to support fast-growing companies such as startups and spin-offs in the area of financial innovation and decentralised technologies. Sandbox will provide selected participants with various forms of support ranging from comprehensive and independent advice, through legal consultation in newly regulated areas not only in the financial market, to technical testing of innovative products.

Startups using space technologies can now receive up to €200,000 in support from the ESA BIC business incubator

This year, the European Space Agency’s incubator ESA BIC will select more start-ups to receive financial and technical assistance to get their business off the ground. By linking with the Technology Incubation project, newly selected projects can receive up to €200,000 in support instead of the current €50,000. Both programmes are administered by the CzechInvest agency.
