The Creative Business Cup 2025 competition has ten finalists. The winners will be selected by an expert jury on 19 March in Hradec Králové

The CzechInvest Agency together with the competition partners selected the ten best projects of the Creative Business Cup 2025 competition. The final ten are startups from various industries that have demonstrated innovation, creativity and great business potential. The gala evening, where an expert jury will select the top three, will take place on 19 March 2025 at the Petrof Gallery in Hradec Králové. The audience will also choose the most popular startup on the spot, which will receive the Audience Favorite award. The co-organiser of this year’s event is the Hradec Králové Region, the partner is the Centre for Investment, Development and Innovation.
“The three-day evaluation marathon presented us with the most diverse range of projects that are pushing boundaries and setting completely new standards in the creative sector. Digital innovations – from smart apps to sophisticated platforms to sophisticated software solutions – are a clear indicator of what’s driving today’s startup and creative ecosystem, and that’s artificial intelligence and disruptive thinking. But there’s also projects that aren’t afraid to raise crucial social issues, proving that technology can have a big social impact .” says Petra Kneslová, Director of the Creative Hub of the Technology Incubation project of the CzechInvest Agency. A total of fifty projects applied for the national round and 41 of them presented after the first approach and evaluation of the criteria.
A diverse selection of startups from many sectors of the creative industries made it to the final ten. Here are the final ten:
- Startup EscapeCaching Ltd. is developing a global platform Aharta to allow creators to easily create and share interactive games and stories in the real world.
- The Graphic Standard project automates the creation of visual output using artificial intelligence.
- The Brno-based company OMG Robotics s.r.o. is involved in the integration of the basis for teaching robotics and informatics in schools and the production of robotic kits .
- Startup Pretty Much Nomads is working with Contesaur on content marketing management and planning.
- SKULL studio designs and realizes atypical design of art projects in architecture.
- The experiential and dating mobile application is developed by Take up s.r.o.
- A digital course linking scientific methods of positive psychology with modern technology is brought by Uniwellsity s.r.o.
- An educational video game for children ages 6 to 12, Manabies combines math learning and fun in fast-paced arena battles thanks to Veska Games Ltd.
- A fire blanket from Walk on Water s.r.o. can save a life.
- Last but not least, the ultimate personalized video system is brought to you by Webout You.
This year’s national final will also be the culmination of the 2nd annual Creative Industries Day, which will be preceded by the Design Forum / Design of the Future – Sustainability and Innovation, organised by the Centre for Investment, Development and Innovation of the Hradec Královehradecky Region.
The mission of the Design Forum is to inspire and support innovation in design with a focus on environmentally and economically sustainable approaches. The Forum focuses on upcycling and the use of waste materials, circular principles and technological innovations that can help companies and individuals adapt to the markets of the future.

About the Creative Business Cup project
Creative Business Cup aims to support creative startups from all over the world, connecting them with each other and helping them find investors and conquer foreign markets. The organiser of the Czech national round of the competition is the CzechInvest Agency for Enterprise and Investment Promotion. It searches for creative and innovative startups across the Czech Republic and helps to verify their global potential through the Creative Business Cup competition. The final night of the national round will take place 19 March 2025 in Hradec Králové. The winner then takes part in the global final in Copenhagen. This year’s partners are the Hradec Králové Region, the Centre for Investment, Development and Innovation, the City of Hradec Králové and the Hradec Králové Technology Centre.
