Fonafix by Scicake s.r.o. provides effective diagnosis and therapy of dysarthria, a speech disorder caused by e.g. stroke or cerebral palsy. It enables speech therapists to perform a quick and objective examination via a web-based application, using a combination of digital biomarkers and AI. AI also helps the speech therapist to design a treatment plan that is targeted to the individual needs of the patient. Fonafix then uses video recordings to teach the patient to rehabilitate specific disorders, while monitoring their performance via a smart device and remotely informing the speech therapist of progress.
