The laboratory-precise “Point of Need” analyzer based on the CLIA (Chemiluminescent Immunoassay) principle allows high accuracy and sensitivity to the pathogen/contaminant under investigation. By housing the CLIA technology in a small rugged instrument, the test results are as accurate as in the laboratory and therefore fully comparable for any required certification needs. Testing is performed directly at the sampling site and results can be communicated as a standard IOT platform (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) within minutes. This early detection quickly reduces the time to result, reduces the risk of transporting the sample to the lab (in some cases can replace full lab costs) and saves exponential growth in potential damage to the system being monitored due to the ability to monitor conditions almost online. The analysis can only be performed by a trained person, instead of any laboratory precision immunoassay methods (ELISA, RIA).
