As of November 29, 2024, the fifth project challenge has closed, with a total of 153 startups signed up. The CzechInvest Agency plans to support approximately fifty of them with CZK 105 million. It is now working with 180 young companies out of the planned 250, so the project has already passed its symbolic half.

Interest in the Technology Incubation has increased compared to the previous call, which attracted 125 startups. The most represented sectors were Artificial Intelligence (47), Creative Industries (34) and Tech4Life (33). More information can be found in the following report.

If you are one of the applicants of the fifth call, your application is currently undergoing an innovation assessment, which is the main criterion for receiving support. Want to know more about the process? We have written all the details in the following article.

The next, probably the last challenge will be announced during the first half of 2025. However, all interested startups can already apply for pre-incubation. Here, they will be assigned a consultant who will help the company prepare its application and, if interested, connect it to relevant scientific and commercial partners. The area of space technology, which is another area of the Technology Incubation project, is supported by CzechInvest through a combination of two projects – Technology Incubation and the ESA BIC Czech Republic incubator, and the amount of the subsidy has been increased to EUR 200,000 thanks to Technology Incubation. More details on the upcoming call can be found on the Space Incubator website.
