Almost 45 million crowns are available for applicants in the latest call of the Technology Incubation project

The CzechInvest Agency announces the last call for the Technology Incubation project, which supports innovative companies through seven specialized technology hubs. Companies can apply for the sixth call with an allocation of CZK 44.8 million for their innovative product or service from 17 March to 16 March. April.
“Technological incubation emphasizes the technological and business development of the company. Thanks to our program, startups accelerate their development and market entry, better adapt to dynamic market challenges and optimize their future growth. The data shows that almost 10% of the total volume of venture investments in the Czech Republic went to startups incubated in our programme, which amounts to around CZK 500 million,” said Jan Michal, CEO of CzechInvest.
The aim of the Technology Incubation programme is to kick-start and further develop the startup ecosystem in the Czech Republic. The programme is open to entrepreneurs from across the Czech Republic and focuses on seven key technology areas: artificial intelligence, mobility, creative industries, space technologies, ecology and circular economy, preserving and protecting life or enhancing its comfort (including healthcare, biotechnology and security solutions) and advanced materials.
Unlike other subsidy programmes, Technology Incubation combines financial and non-financial assistance tools, such as educational seminars and workshops, pitch presentations for investors, networking meetings, cooperation with an incubation manager or tailor-made advice from leading Czech business and technology experts. Within the individual innovation hubs, companies will also connect to a wide network of partners across the public, private and academic spheres.
“Incubation with an emphasis on mentoring is attractive not only for young budding entrepreneurs, but also for scientists who want help commercialising their research results. At the moment, projects coming out of research organisations make up about a third of all supported projects, and many more are part of pre-incubation. According to feedback, more than 70% of all participating startups have confirmed to us that Technology Incubation’s support was a major factor for them in bringing their project to fruition.” said Tereza Kubicová, deputy for technological development of the CzechInvest agency.
The last challenge project will be announced from 17 March to 16 April and it is now possible to apply for pre-incubation. The call allocation of 44.8 million crowns offers participation in the program to just under thirty startups, which can apply for support in the amount of 1.6 million crowns. Incubation will be possible for up to 18 months. Other startups will then enter the Technology Incubation in conjunction with the ESA BIC Czech Republic space programme and its separate calls.
The Technology Incubation represents the largest initiative to support startups in the history of the Czech Republic with a total allocation of approximately CZK 680 million. The programme is funded from the state budget through the Ministry of Industry and Trade under The Country for the Future programme.
On 16 April 2025 we closed the last call with an allocation of CZK 44.8 million. 157 startups applied. Most of them are companies from the creative industries, AI, security and health.
