Creative start-ups that did not manage to register by the original deadline of 10 January 2025 now have a new chance to compete for a prestigious domestic award and a place in the world finals in Copenhagen. Applications can be submitted at the following link we are now accepting applications until January 24th.

The competition is open to startups in creative industries such as design, electronics, software, video games, 3D printing, fashion, architecture, advertising, film, photography, gastronomy, leisure, toys, music or audio-visual. Human talent, creativity and innovation are essential factors in the evaluation.

The grand finale, which will be attended by the TOP 10 best creative companies, will take place on 19 March 2025 at the PETROF Gallery in Hradec Králové. The prizes for the top three projects are complete legal advice from partners Mavericks and SRCH/ZBOŘIL & PARTNEŘI law firm, marketing services from ANIMATO, PRIM watches from a well-known Czech manufacturer, entries to startup events #Startupgrilling & #StartupCinema or pitching in front of investors. This year, in addition to the main prizes, the audience will also award the Audience Favorite category, which will win, among other things, media space with the competition partners.

The 2024 edition was dominated by the startup E-Cafe bike with its innovative cargo truck City Commuters, which has its own electric drive. Previous winners of the national round in previous years were startups Nebesys ( 2023), which won the world final in Copenhagen, Sensio (2022), Readmio (2021), FaceUp (2020), Snuggs ( 2019) and Miomove (2018).

Creative Business Cup aims to support creative startups from all over the world, connecting them with each other and helping them find investors and conquer foreign markets. The organiser of the Czech national round of the competition is the CzechInvest Business and Investment Promotion Agency and its project Technological Incubation. The agency is looking for creative and innovative startups across the Czech Republic and helps to verify their potential through the Creative Business Cup competition.
