Eighteen startups involved in the largest Czech project to support innovative companies of the CzechInvest agency presented in front of a full room of guests from among technology leaders and investors in the second year of the Technology Incubation #DemoDay competition. The first places were taken by Scicake, Galochrom, HTG MedicalShealed.

“At a time when AI is booming, founding a deep-tech company may seem like a simple and logical choice; everyone wants AI today. But even the best idea is not enough, it needs to be validated and successfully brought to market. And it is this crucial path to market success that Technology Incubation has made possible, and we could not have done it without its support. The opportunity to present our breakthrough visions and successes to date in front of experienced investors and innovation leaders during the demo day is an invaluable way to validate the enormous potential of our solution. Today’s win by the Scicake team is a well-deserved reward for more than a year of intense effort and clear evidence that we are on our way to revolutionizing the industry,” Ján Mucha, co-founder and CEO of Scicake , comments on the win .

The presentations were evaluated by a jury of leading business experts consisting of Milan Špaček (JPF Czech), Matěj Krček (Purple Ventures), Ondřej Lipold (Tensor Ventures), Vanda Seidelová (Czech Founders), Filip Hornát (Startupjobs) and Tomáš Vančo( Taiwania Capital).

The key evaluation criteria included the market potential and competitive advantage of the project, the presentation skills of the startup representative, the ability to engage the audience in English and the company’s readiness for investment. The pitch competition was moderated by Kateřina Nováková in the Planetarium Prague .

The programme also included a presentation of the results to date and upcoming innovations of the Technology Incubation project, presented by the Director of Startup Incubation Kateřina Rundová. The additional seventh challenge with an allocation of CZK 100 million will be launched on 24 November 2025. Details of the upcoming project challenge can be found here.

Semi-finalists from Avaltar, Galochrom and HTG Medical subsequently advanced to the Top Startup Selection conference of Engaged Investments, organized by DEPO Ventures and J&T Ventures.

The main partners of Technology Incubation #demoday were JPF Czech and Startupjobs, other supporters included Insight PR, EnviTrail , Engaged Investments Conference, Mana and the CzechStartups portal.
