Gain inspiration, gain know-how or launch your first startup – that’s exactly what this year’s Symposium can help you with. And the Technology Incubation Project will not miss out!

On 22 November, the Symposium, a one-day conference on entrepreneurship organised by the non-profit organisation AIESEC, will take place in Brno, with the main aim of supporting young people in gaining new experiences. The theme for this year is Business of the New Generation and will deal with new trends in entrepreneurship, sustainability and business start-ups. There will be plenty of opportunities for newcomers as well as more experienced entrepreneurs looking for inspiration for their start-ups.

Theory, practice and networking in conclusion

The symposium will start the day with practical workshops. You will be able to combine theoretical information with practical insight. In the past, we have covered topics such as starting a startup by Libor Hoření or effective recruitment in the IT sector led by Marta Říhová.

Details about this year’s workshops will be available in the coming weeks on the conference social media.

In the afternoon there will be lectures by more than eight speakers. Among the invited speakers is our startup specialist Dominik Urban, who will present two key startup programmes of CzechInvest. We can also look forward to Kateřina Genttnerová, who helps integrate sustainability into business strategy – she will share with you how to communicate sustainability within the corporate environment. Last but not least, Tomáš Svoboda, co-founder of the business platform Sustainova, will present an inspiring storytelling following his personal journey to start a successful company and use the Warrior Mindset in practice. You can also look forward to Sylva Žáková Talpa, who will present tips on coaching practice, or Martin Urban from Purple Technology, who will dedicate his talk to controversy in leadership.

A panel discussion will follow and the day will conclude with a networking session lasting several hours, during which you will have the opportunity to network and share experiences between delegates and speakers.
