Technology Incubation will again be part of the international URBIS The Smart Cities Meetup trade fair and conference, which will take place on 10 – 12 June 2025 at the Brno Exhibition Centre.
The topics of this year’s programme will include, for example, the application of AI and data in public administration, practical insights from the implementation of community energy in practice, technologies for health and social care in an ageing population, civic-tech, efficient transport in cities, adaptation of cities to climate change and many other topical issues.
This is a unique opportunity for startups to get inspired, share examples of good practice and get the latest information and advice on how to implement smart city projects correctly and efficiently in an interactive expert programme.
An integral part of the event is also a three-day networking event offering close connections between startups and municipalities and cities planning to put smart solutions into practice. Other guests at the conference include representatives of innovation centres, universities, industry associations and non-profit organisations.
URBIS is a key platform for cooperation in the field of smart cities across sectors and levels and in the last record year it welcomed more than 3,800 visitors, 500 representatives of municipalities and regions, 150 speakers and over 10 foreign delegations. And this year is even more ambitious.
The significance of the event is underlined by the support of institutions such as the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Regional Development, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of the Environment and the organisations established by them. CzechInvest is a proud partner of the event.
