A significant part of the day will be dedicated to startups and the Technology Incubation project . In the morning, the selected top eighteen Technology Incubation startups will have the opportunity to present their results during the Technology Incubation #demoday showcase to major players in the domestic and international startup community and receive feedback or first investment from them. “Pitching in English in front of investors is one of the main disciplines we systematically prepare founders for during incubation. The winners will then go on to the Top Startup Selection at the Engaged Investments Conference and win other valuable prizes to help them grow further ,” says Tereza Kubicová, Deputy for Technology Development at CzechInvest.
The stage will feature companies across progressive fields such as AI, advanced materials, Tech4Life or sustainable innovation. “Tech Happy Hours is a unique opportunity for startups to make key contacts and show that the Czech Republic is a real innovation hub. Supporting the startup community is crucial for our economy. These young companies are bringing revolutionary ideas and solutions that are transforming entire industries, generating jobs, attracting foreign capital and strengthening our competitiveness,” adds Kubicová. The afternoon programme will include a panel discussion of key representatives of the project, who were behind its preparation and management. The largest domestic project to date to support innovative young companies is now approaching its goal of supporting 250 startups across the Czech Republic and is already in discussions with representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Industry about its continuation.
