One of the world’s most significant startup events will take place October 13–15, 2026, in San Francisco. TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 will provide a platform for founders, investors, technology leaders, and innovators from around the world to meet. The Czech Republic’s participation in the event will be supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade through the PROPED Economic Diplomacy Support Project, in cooperation with the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Los Angeles and the agencies CzechInvest and CzechTrade. TechCrunch Disrupt is one of the key international events for the startup ecosystem. Every year, it attracts thousands of startup founders, investors, technology experts, and representatives of large companies who are looking for new business opportunities, investments, and technology trends.

The event’s program covers the entire startup cycle, from the initial idea through product development and securing investment to scaling the company. According to the organizers, TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 will offer resources, contacts, and expert insights for founders at various stages of their entrepreneurial journey, as well as for investors, operators, and innovators who are keeping an eye on new technology trends.

“The technology ecosystem in San Francisco is incredibly dynamic, and being in the right place at the right time can play a crucial role in a company’s continued growth. A well-timed conversation or a new connection often opens the door to opportunities that would otherwise be very difficult to create. TechCrunch Disrupt gives startups the chance to be right in the thick of things, where founders, investors, and the people shaping the direction of the technology industry all come together. For Czech companies, this is a chance to gain valuable feedback, test their product’s potential in the U.S. market, and build relationships that would otherwise take months to establish. I’m glad we can help Czech startups be part of these opportunities and support their journey into global markets.” says Anna Hight, Director of West Coast Operations at CzechInvest.

The involvement of Czech institutions is intended to help raise awareness of the opportunities that TechCrunch Disrupt offers Czech startups and to help them navigate the U.S. technology landscape. In addition to attending the conference itself, selected startups will also have the opportunity to participate in a workshop focused on the specifics of doing business in Silicon Valley and a networking event with the local community of founders, investors, and technology experts. The program is designed to help Czech companies better understand the U.S. market and build relationships that could be key to their future growth.

Czech startups interested in joining the program and attending TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco this year can apply by emailing anna.hight@czechinvest.gov.cz by July 21, 2026.
