The AI Startup Pitch Contest has become an integral part of the nationwide AI Days festival for the third time. It attracted not only technology start-ups, but also investors, representatives of innovation centres and other experts to Prague and Brno. It created an important space for sharing experiences and establishing new collaborations. It also serves the Technology Incubation project as a scouting platform for talented startups. It plans to open a seventh, complementary challenge as early as 24 November 2025 .

We want to support promising Czech founders not only financially, but especially by connecting them with those who will help them accelerate their development and market entry. The AI Startup Pitch Contest, as well as the entire AI Days festival and AI Awards, are important events offering connections to key players in the AI startup ecosystem ,” says Zdeněk Havel, director of the AI Hub of the Technology Incubation and a member of the team of the Czech National AI Platform (CNAIP), which organizes the AI Days. During the two competition evenings, dozens of participants met at the events held under the auspices of the CzechInvest agency and a total of 20 startups presented their innovative ideas in front of expert juries.

The Prague round took place on 6 November 2025 in the business and coworking hub OPERO in cooperation with partners OPERO, Ment2GrowSeed Starter CS. The winner was the project marsmars.ai developing an AI engine to optimize the customer journey in e-commerce. The second place went to a mobile application for health data management MedicMee and third place went to the team SleepFactory with a service that delivers effective solutions to sleep problems.

The Brno part of the competition took place on 10 November 2025 in the premises of the South Moravian Innovation Centre. The jury was most impressed by the startup Nuomy, which uses artificial intelligence to generate educational content on any topic. The second place went to a platform for automated production of audiovisual outputs Vivelo.AI and third place went to the team’s visual AI assistant EpiQity.

The finalists of both rounds will share valuable prizes, such as a mentoring match from the Ment2Grow accelerator, consultations from the Seed Starter investment fund of Česká spořitelna, credits for premium ads on the Startupjobs.cz website, jobs in the coworking space of the South Moravian Innovation Centre or media support from the organizers and the Czech Startups startup portal.

The interest of startups to participate was extraordinary this year, registrations filled up in a few days. A big thank you not only to the partners, but also to the judges from JIC Ventures, Seed Starter CS and successful ventures The MAMA AI and Everbot, who provided valuable feedback to the competitors for their further development ,” adds Havel.
