“Last year Prague was named the second most cultured metropolis in the world. However, the whole Czech Republic can be proud of its creativity, which hides many interesting creative startups. By participating in the competition, they can not only gain valuable experience and interesting prizes, but also increase awareness of their product. At the same time, it may be a first step towards linking with the Technology Incubation project,” said Markéta Mentelová, Creative Business Cup Ambassador for 2024 and Director of the Creative Hub of the Technology Incubation project.
The application process for creative startups was officially launched on 15 November, and interested parties can apply until to 10. January 2024on the Agency’s website or at www.creativebusinesscup.cz. Ten finalists will be selected by an expert jury from all the applications to compete for a place in the national final and the audience award in March this year. It is awarded annually by the audience of the competition.
The Creative Business Cup is open to all startups in the creative industry, which includes design, fashion, architecture, digital games, software, gastronomy, film, books, print or television, radio or music. Human talent, creativity and innovation are essential factors in the evaluation.
Last year’s competition was dominated by the startup Nebesys, which managed to win the first place at the Czech final with its unique roof system and was the first Czech startup to win among the world’s elite.
