In addition to financial support, incubation includes educational seminars and workshops, pitch presentations for investors, networking meetings, cooperation with an incubation manager or tailored advice and mentoring from leading Czech business and technology experts. And because Technology Incubation is a programme with a nationwide reach, one of the other important benefits is the connection to local innovation infrastructure where startups can grow further.
Whitelist Technological Incubation
For incubated companies, we manage a database of regional contacts, called whitelist, which help and provide services and facilities for start-ups. These are organisations that have been vetted and approved by the CzechInvest agency and its Technology Incubation programme as having a proven track record and long-term experience in supporting startups and spin-offs.
These are mainly established regional innovation centres and hubs, university and business incubators or accelerators, science and technology parks or other functional public and private innovation infrastructure across the country. Currently, the whitelist consists of 24 members from all 14 regions of the Czech Republic, with some regions such as Prague, Moravian-Silesian Region or Olomouc Region having more members and others having one representative each.

Key benefits for startups

Benefits for members of the innovation infrastructure
- access to start-ups and Technology Incubation applicants;
- media support from the CzechInvest agency (presentation on the Technology Incubation website and in the pdf catalogue), the possibility to communicate your offer within Slack through the Czechinvest contact person or to participate in quarterly netwoking meetups;
- the opportunity to communicate, meet and consult with the Technology Incubation team to share know-how and best practices.
For those interested in being considered for the Whitelist selection, full information, including a registration form, is available here. Qualification for the whitelist is possible throughout the duration of the Technology Incubation project, or until all startups are selected and placed. Evaluation of the whitelist will be ongoing throughout the project.
