A reactor for generating high-value carbon from waste sources.

BioreX technology is a process for converting contaminated wood into high value-added carbon for use in a number of highly specialised industries (e.g. battery production, supercapacitors, etc.). In the Czech Republic alone, up to 10 thousand tonnes of contaminated wood mass is produced annually in the form of wood sleepers, which are very difficult to process with significant environmental impacts through burning. It is therefore no longer possible to landfill sleepers. Our technology aims for waste-free processability and recoverability with high economic returns. Furthermore, we intend to test other waste streams, as over 50% of all newly generated waste can be reused with our technology. We see the technology as a breakthrough solution with significant international potential and the possibility of setting a new standard in the circular economy.
