Ion-exchange membranes for hydrogen economy.

Hydrogen is seen as the gas of the future and is set to become a key tool in the transition to a low-carbon economy. The expected boom in green hydrogen production in the coming years will provide an opportunity for TailorMem, which holds the license for TailorMem Hollex ion-exchange membranes used in green hydrogen production. The added value of the membranes developed in the project is the production of the membrane based on customer requirements. The use of TailorMem Hollex membranes in hydrogen fuel cells is attractive for the automotive industry and also as an energy source within the overall hydrogen cycle (the so-called hydrogen economy).
