If you are a small or medium-sized company with an innovative product or service and you want to grow, consider joining our program. Technology incubation combines direct financial support with indirect mentoring and advisory support. Applications close on the 30th. May. That’s why we’ve prepared a brief overview of the conditions you need to meet and what you need to do to successfully submit your application.
Throughout the year, it is possible to register for the preparatory phase of the project called. pre-incubation. We will then assign you a pre-incubation manager to prepare you for the application process. You can apply without pre-incubation, but it will be more difficult for you, so we recommend this service to all applicants. It will save you a lot of time and nerves, and possibly unnecessary frustration, as it will increase your chances of being accepted into the project. For details on pre-incubation, see this article.
Do you meet the basic conditions of Technological Incubation? We need to hear three YES’s:
Yes, my company is a small or medium-sized enterprise.
Yes, we are based in the Czech Republic (also for the duration of the project).
Yes, our company is not older than 3 years, respectively. 5 years, if justified by specific technological needs and the nature of the project
Features of your project, product or service that you can’t do without:
Scalability (financial and strategic development model, technology, business)
Before applying, you also need to be clear about the sector you are applying for. A bad choice may later lead to an unnecessary rejection. You can read more about the individual sectors on our website in themushroom guide.
Everything has its rules and conditions Think in advance about the conditions for receiving support.
The project has budget rules that must be followed. You will also be bound by the contract.
The aid is provided under the de minimis regime, i.e. must not, together with other de minimis aid granted to one beneficiary over the previous three years, exceed EUR 200 000, resp. from 1. 7. 2024 300 000 EUROS.

What is incubation?
A comprehensive way to support the development of your company. It includes the provision of a financial subsidy as well as a range of accompanying services such as assistance from the incubation team, mentoring by experts, participation in workshops and other advice. Incubation of a startup is divided into two parts:
Direct support Funds from which all eligible incubation costs can be paid. For indicative determination, resp. You can consult with the incubation manager to classify your cargo. The expenditure must meet all of the following conditions:
accounted for as external services
related to research and development of an innovative product
are included in the incubation plan (it is not necessary to have all itemised costs included, but the expenditure must meet its factual content).
Indirect support It is provided in the form of mentoring by the incubation manager and selected experts, as well as the possibility to participate in workshops and events and other services / activities. The incubation manager will help you and provide both administrative and professional assistance within the incubation (orders, courses, training, application administration, etc.). The use of indirect aid is compulsory.
How to apply
We use the Agenda Information System (AIS), which contains all the requirements for its completion. The application includes both mandatory (business plan) and optional attachments (letter of intent, technical description or drawing of your product). The application, including attachments, must be sent through the system by the deadline specified in the call for applications (30 May); applications cannot be submitted earlier or later.
The following 3 steps must be completed to successfully apply:
Registration of the applicant (legal entity registered in the Commercial Register at the time of application) and login of the applicant to CI AIS.
Setting up, completing and submitting the application.
The system offers an interface for submitting an application and completing an incubation plan. The business plan is uploaded as an attachment. If you are unsure about how to submit, please contact your pre-incubation manager.
Tips for applying
Getting your application right takes time, so don’t leave it to the last minute.
Have an incorporated company (new companies take time to register).
Take the time to fill in the attachments.
The system may be overloaded at the time of the application deadline.
Your internet connection can also let you down at the last minute.
After completing the application form and uploading the attachments, click on the application (change the application status from “In Progress” to “Submitted”).
We’ve submitted the application. What now? We know from past calls that the evaluation takes about 6 months. For more detailed information on what happens after you apply, see this article.
